Courtnie Carr earned women's athlete of the week after winning three medals and breaking the school record on the weekend.  Carr began the week by shooting a 1181 to place second the USIIAC Indoor Regional Qualifying Tournament.  That score was the highest qualifying score by any (male or female) bowhunter in program history and broke the women’s record of 1179 set by Haley Haygood in 2017. She followed that up by notching two golds and a silver at the MSC Indoor Championships.  After earning a runner-up finish in the individual bowhunter division, Carr teamed with Mckenzie Gaines and Michaela McDonald to win gold in the women’s bowhunter team round.  She would cap her week with another gold, this time in the bowhunter mixed team with partner Aaron Adams.
