Radford was named the female athlete of the week after tossing a complete game shutout in the Patriots 6-0 win over #11 Georgia Gwinnett. In her Patriot debut, Radford scattered four hits and three walks over seven innings but strong defensive effort and four strikeouts helped hold the Grizzlies scoreless for this first time since April 26, 2019. Radford surrender a runner in each of the first three innings, however, strong defense including a 1-6-3 double play to end the third kept maintained UC's 2-0 lead. The sophomore recorded a strike out to end the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings as Cumberlands extended the lead to 4-0. Radford added a sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth to help her cause as the Patriots improve to 2-1 on the season and helped Coach Bailey Dillender collect her 100th career win.
