Tompkins earned the women's player of the week honors after going 3-0 with two pin falls and a tech fall.  She began the day by pinning Kim Vargas of Brewton-Parker at the 1:52 mark.   She followed that up with her second pin of the day this time coming against Briana Jordan of Emmanuel at the 1:27 mark.  That win secured the victory for the Patriots who defeated Emmanuel 26-18.  In her final match of the day, Tompkins scored a 12-1 tech fall over Alyssa Cantu of Missouri Valley.  For the season, Tompkins is 11-2 with seven pins and three tech falls.
