Madison Cox earned athlete of the week honors after a dominant performance in the women’s fixed pins division at the MSC Indoor Championship.  The senior dropped just two points in the first round, while finishing with 55 10’s to earn the top-seed.  In the head-to-head Cox went 4-0 to capture the gold medal.  The McKee, KY native won a one-arrow shoot-off to advance to the semifinals and in the finals, Cox dropped just two points to claim the top spot.  She teamed with Connor Mullis to go 2-0 and win the mixed fixed pins team round.  The duo edged Union in the semifinals before defeating Lindsey Wilson 157-146 in the gold medal match.  Cox capped off the week teaming with Kaitlyn Shields and Kimber Wheeler to earn gold in the women’s team division with a 238-218 win over Pikeville in the finals.
