Carly Oliver earned player of the week honors after going 4-8 on the week with two extra base hits and four RBI to help the Patriots to a pair of wins over Bethel.  The junior opened the week going 2-5 with two walks, and a pair of runs scored in UC’s come-from-behind win.  After opening with two walks, Oliver hit an RBI triple in the fourth inning and later came around to score as Cumberlands cut their deficit to 7-5.  The Georgetown, KY native came up big for the Patriots one more time this time in the 12^th inning when she hit an RBI single and later came around to score as part of a five-run inning as UC defeated the Wildcats 14-9.  Oliver followed that up going 2-3 with two RBI and a run scored in the second game of the series.  She led off the game with a double and came around to score to put UC in front 1-0.  In the second inning she hit an RBI singles extending the lead to 4-0, before adding a sac fly in the sixth.  Her performance helped Cumberlands go undefeated in conference play, becoming the first MSC school to accomplish that feat.
