Salinas earned the women's player of the week honors after winning the 123 lbs. weight class at the NAIA Invitational.  Salinas recorded a 3-0 record with two pins and a tech fall, without surrounding a point, to finish first.  She began the day pinning Julia Hooper of Missouri Valley at the 1:43 mark, before defeating Valeria Sanchez of Bacone at 1:18 by fall. In the third round, Salinas won in a 13-0 tech fall over Addie Mejia of Missouri Valley College to win the event.
