Charlie Muniz earned athlete of the week honors after helping the Pats go 4-0 on the week. He closed out the week with a team-best 11 RBI to go along with a .938 slugging percentage.   Muniz opened the week with an RBI single against Pikeville, which scored the first run of the game, before adding a sac fly in the second inning.  The junior followed that up with a single and a walk in the series opener against the Lions.  Muniz broke open the second game of the series with a grand slam in the third inning to put Cumberlands in front 7-0.  In the series finale, Muniz went 3-5 with two homers and five RBI.  After trailing 9-0, Muniz led off the fourth inning with a solo homer to put UC on the board.  Muniz reach base twice before coming up in the bottom of the ninth inning a blasting an opposite field walk-off grand slam to help the Patriots earn the series sweep.
