Javiero Izquierdo Cuervo earned athlete of the week honors after making four saves and earning a clean sheet in the Patriots 1-0 win over eighth-ranked Mobile.  The Candás, Asturias, Spain native posted his first shutout of the season in the neutral site match-up against the Rams.  Izquierdo Cuervo made a save in 17’ to keep the match scoreless.   In the second half, Izquierdo Cuervo anchored a stellar defensive performance by UC, making a trio of stops, including one in the 84’ to preserve Cumberlands 1-0 win.  It marks the second straight year that UC has knocked off a top-ten opponent during the regular season.
