University of the Cumberlands Athletics

Grace Moore earned athlete of the week honors after recording a trio of podium finishes.  The sophomore carded a 422 and hit 12 bonus rings to finish as the national runner-up in the women’s compound division.  She carded a 214 over the final 20 targets to clinch her second consecutive podium finish at 3D nationals.  Moore teamed with Claire Garrison and Lanie Nish to win gold in the women’s compound division.  The trio tallied a 1262 to pull away from the field by 43 points.  Moore closed out the championships pairing with Blaine Kostrzewski for a runner-up finish in the mixed team rounds.  It was her first mixed team podium finish as a Patriot.
