Javiero Izquierdo Cuervo earned athlete of the week honors after helping lead the Patriots to their first MSC Tournament title since 2020.  Izquierdo Cuervo opened the week with six saves in the win over third-seed Cumberland.  The junior notched five saves in the second half to fend off the Phoenix and record the seventh clean sheet on the year. He followed that up with four saves against Lindsey Wilson in the championship match.  Izquierdo Cuervo made a pair of saves during the first overtime to force penalty kicks.  Izquierdo Cuervo made to saves during the shootout as Cumberlands captured the tournament title.
