The UC Softball Complex, home to Patriots Softball, blends modern amenities with a competitive atmosphere designed for both athletes and fans. Opened in 2017, the facility features a fully enclosed field framed by navy windscreens and adorned with UC logos, creating a strong visual identity that reflects the pride of Cumberlands Athletics.
Field dimensions include 220 feet to left and center field and 200 feet to right field, providing a balanced layout for dynamic gameplay. Both dugouts are equipped with interior lighting and built-in heating units—ensuring comfort for players and coaches during early spring matchups. In 2025, UC added a fan platform right behind the left field wall, where spectators can bring their chairs and enjoy the games.
A fully functional press box sits directly behind home plate and supports game operations, including scoreboard control, live statistics, and HD video streaming capabilities. Bleacher seating extends along both the first and third base lines, offering fans a close and clear view of the action.
Additional amenities include a centrally located concession stand and restrooms for spectators. The Patriots Softball lockeroom and coaching offices was built in 2017. Right behind the lockerrom, the Patriots built a modern Indoor Hitting Facility that includes seperate cages with portable netting.
Conveniently visible from I-75 North just past Exit 11, the UC Softball Complex stands as a landmark venue for Patriot pride and championship-level competition.
