Lacrosse Season Openers Canceled Due to Weather Conditions

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's Lacrosse teams have prepped for numerous months to prepare themselves for their inaugural seasons on the field.  As they continued their work this week, the Patriots' were dealt a blow of wintry weather that will halt the opening of the lacrosse seasons.  

Both the men and women were set to host Ottawa University (KS) on Friday, February 12th, but due to recent snowfall in the southeastern Kentucky area, those games have been canceled.   

UP NEXT

The Patriot ladies will now host their home opener on Tuesday, February 16th as they host Montreat College in their opening game of Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play.  Game time is set for 4 pm.

The UC men will hit the road on Friday, February 19th as they take on Montreat College in their opening game of AAC play.  Game is scheduled to begin at 1 pm.
