Williamsburg, KY – The third-ranked UC women's swimming and diving team won all 12 events en route to a 144-68 win over Campbellsville Friday night at the Dinah Taylor Aquatic Center. With the win the Patriots improve to 5-0 overall and 3-0 against the Mid-South Conference.
UC hit seven NAIA "A" cuts and three NAIA "B" cuts, while
Casey Walin and
Mendy De Rooi each posted a pair of wins. Walin earned first place in both the 500 free and the 1000 free, touching the wall in 5:37.39 and 11:35.00, respectfully.
De Rooi began her night by swimming 2:17.66 in the 200 IM. She followed that up winning the 100 back with a time of 1:03.60, both of those times were NAIA "B" standards.

Christina Klouda edged out teammate
Cameron Klimczak for the win. Klouda's winning time of 59.99 is ranked fifth in the MSC, while Klimczak is ranked seventh with a time of 1:00.48.
Kenzie Pennington was just over a half second off her season-best time as she won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:10.88.
Houston Burgoon and Raeleigh Stansbery earned UC's final two "A" cuts. Burgoon won the 50 free in 25.31, while Stansbery swam 2:02.10 to win the 200 free.
Brittany Litke posted a 56.28 to win the 100 free and hit a "B" cut.
Danielle Rehl earn the final first place finish as she recorded 163.60 points in the one-meter dive event.
In the final event of the meet, the 400 free relay, Klimczak, Litke, Klouda, and De Rooi teamed up to win the even with a time of 3:40.76.
The Patriots will return to the water Saturday, December 2, as they host West Virginia Tech. The meet is scheduled for 12 p.m. and live video is available
