Williamsburg, KY – The UC men's wrestling program saw a revamp over the summer as they introduced a new head coach, Corey Ruff. Last season the Patriots finished the season ranked tenth in the NAIA with a 5-2 record. There was also one MSC champion and eight NAIA Qualifiers. This season the Patriots will compete in 15 events, featuring five duals.

Cumberlands begins their season with three open tournaments in November. The first Open will be the annual Patriot Open, this year UC will host the Open at the Corbin Civic Center for the second straight season. The following week on Nov 13^th, they will travel to Des Moines, IA to compete at the Grand View Open. A week later Nov 20^th, UC will head down to Marietta, GA to compete at the Life Open.

 On December 8^th, the Patriots will open the dual portion of their season taking on Midway in Williamsburg at 7 pm. That weekend on Dec 11^th, UC will be competing at the NAIA Challenge Duals in Columbia, KY. Their last match of the 2021 portion of the season will be on Dec 16^th, when they travel down to Waleska, GA, to compete in a Tri-Match against Reinhardt and Life.

Cumberlands will start the 2022 portion of their season competing at the NWCA/NAIA National Duals in Louisville, KY on January 6^th and 7^th. That next week on Jan 13^th, the Patriots will travel up the I-75 to Crestview Hills, KY for a Tri-Match against Thomas More and Rio Grande starting at 5 pm. On Jan 21^st and 22^nd, UC heads to Marshall, MO to compete at the Missouri Valley Invite. To end January, UC returns home to host a dual against Campbellsville at 7pm.

In February, Cumberlands will host a dual against the reigning MSC North Division regular season and tournament champion Lindsey Wilson on the 4^th at 7 pm. The following day the Patriots will travel over to Campbellsville, KY to compete at the Campbellsville Open.

The Mid-South Conference Tournament is set for February 18^th and 19^th in Bowling Green, KY. Then the NAIA National Championships are set for March 4^th and 5^th in Wichita, KY.
