Bowling Green, KY – The UC cheerleading team recorded a final score of 79.90 to place fourth at the Mid-South Conference championships Saturday afternoon.   

"I'm grateful for how hard this team pushed this season," said Head Coach RJ Conroy.  "Although the results weren't in our favor, we plan to use this as motivation moving forward to next year."

Cumberlands opened the championship by tallying an 80.93 in the prelims.  That score was the Patriots second best score of the season and put them in fourth place heading into the finals.  In the finals, UC tallied a 79.56 to finish with an overall score of 79.90 for the championship. 

In addition to the team success, five Patriots were named to the MSC All-Conference Team.  Mishaela Feltner, Alyssa Daniels, and Natalie Rector were named First Team All-Conference, Mackenzie Dedman and Miranda Hembree were Second Team All-Conference selections.

Georgetown won the conference championship with a score of 91.54.  Bethel scored an 83.51 to finish runner-up, while Life scored an 83.05 to place third.
