Bowling Green, KY – Carson Johnson continued his dominance in the 3000m racewalk this weekend at the Mondo College Invitational, earning him his third MSC Track Athlete of the Week honors of the season.   
 
Johnson continued his streak of beating his personal best time for the third race in a row, while breaking his own school record as well. The sophomore crossed the finish line in 13:15.97, hitting a National Qualifying "A" Standard by over one full minute.

This marks Johnson's third MSC weekly award honor of the season. This is the first time since the 2019 indoor season that one athlete in the Mid-South has earned these honors three times.
 
The Patriots Track & Field squad will return to action next weekend as they travel to Louisville, KY for the Kentucky College Invitational.
