Coaches' Poll
Kansas City, MO – The Patriots Men's cross country team were mentioned in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll for the first time since the 2018 season. UC is currently receiving votes in the top-25 poll heading into the postseason, as the MSC Championships are just over a week away.

Cumberlands are coming off of an 18^th place finish in Grand Rapids, MI, where they raced in the Great Lakes Challenge. This meet featured steep competition with 14 teams that made this week's top-25 rankings. Noah McClellan continued to be the front-runner for this Patriots squad as he ran his best time since transferring to UC, 25:57.1.

James Overholser and Kevin Mengich alongside Kyle Woodward, an NAIA Qualifier a year ago, and Deshawn Crowe also had scoring finishes in Michigan, and look to help their team win their first MSC Championship since the 2008 season. UC is now the favorite heading into this meet, as they are ranked in front of the Shawnee State Bears, who have claimed the title for six years in a row.

Milligan University sits atop the poll with 17 of the 20 first place votes. The Masters and Dordt come in at second and third with Indiana Wesleyan and Eastern Oregon rounding out the top five. Cumberlands is the lone MSC team mentioned in this poll.

The Patriots will toe the starting line November 4^th in Bowling Green, Ky for the Mid-South Conference Championships.
