Bowling Green, KY- Cumberlands Emma Lehmkuhl took home MSC Diver of the Week as she notched her first win of the season at the Sewanee Invitational on Friday night.  Lehmkuhl becomes the first diver in the history of the Mid-South Conference to garner this honor since the inception of the award, which began in 2015.

The sophomore from Fort Wright, KY earned two NAIA "A" Standards. On the 3-meter board, she scored 204.85 to finish in first place. She surpassed the qualifying standard of 180 points and that score put her second in the NAIA. Lehmkuhl earned 30 or more points on each of her six dives, with her fourth dive scoring a 38.4.

Then on the 1-meter board, she finished in second with a score of 199.80, which surpassed the 180-point qualifying standard for the NAIA. That score ranks the sophomore second in the NAIA this season. Lehmkuhl saved her best dive for last on this board as she earned a 6.5, 7, 6.5 from the judges to finish the sixth round with a 44-point dive.

Cumberlands hits the road as they head to Terre Hauts, IN, for a Quad-Meet on November 5^th starting at 1 PM.
