Kansas City, MO – The Patriots had one member from their Men's Cross Country team featured on the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes list, NAIA officials announced Thursday.
Carson Johnson garnered this academic honor for his dedication not only on the course, but in the classroom. This marks the third year in a row that Johnson has been an NAIA Cross Country Scholar Athlete honoree.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
