Tallahassee, FL – The 2022 Men's Cross Country national Championship race took place Friday morning. Sophomore transfer Noah McClellan was the lone Patriot competitor after qualifying individually for this race through his performance at the conference tourney earlier this month.
 
McClellan paced his second fastest time of the season with a 26:00.6 8K. About halfway thru the race he was in 209^th with a great opportunity to make up some ground. The sophomore finished the second half of his race strong, surpassing over 50 runners to come away with a 156^th place finish. Noah's performance was over a minute faster than his time at the NAIA XC Pre-Nationals meet earlier this season, held on the same course.
 
Dordt came away with the red banner after tallying 97 team points. Milligan College finished runner-up withy 115 while The Master's rounded out the top three scoring 151 points respectively. Shawnee State was the MSC representative in today's race and came away with an 18^th place finish with 492 points.
 
This sums up the Patriots cross country season. The runners will be back in action in December for the start of the Indoor Track & Field season.
