Smyrna, TN - The Pats women's bowling knocked down 8,281 pins to earn a fifth place finish at the Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament Sunday afternoon. Cumberlands hit 3,009 pins over 16 baker games on the day to climb two spots on the leaderboard.

Ryleigh Withers, and
Kaylie Sipes represented the Patriots in the lanes this weekend. The team averaged 188.06 pins per game to claim their fifth top-five finish on the year.
After four baker games, UC was sitting in seventh place, with 749 pins knocked. The Patriots rallied to hit 797 pins over the next four games to surge one spot on the leaderboard. Cumberlands averaged 191 pins over the next eight games to solidify their fifth place finish.
UT Southern pulled out the first-place victory with a total pin count of 9,045, while Milligan took second place with knocking down 8,6113 pins. Pikeville finished in third place with 8,461 pins flattened on the weekend. Union found themselves just 89 pins ahead of UC with 8,370 pins to end in fourth place.
UC will return to the lanes on January the weekend of January 14
th when they travel north to Addison, IL for the ISBPAA Midwest Collegiate Classic.
