Williamsburg, KY- The Patriots Cheer team placed five athletes on the Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference team, announced by conference officials on Thursday.

The Mid-South Conference also released their MSC Champions of Character Team. Earning the honors for the Patriots was freshman Ally Alred.

Earning the Academic All-Conference honors for the second straight season was freshman Natalie Rector.

In their first year of eligibility for the award, freshmen Ally Alred, Jeanna Nantz, and Abigail Sharp.

Also earning the honors for the first time in her career is Alyssa Daniels.

To be nominated for this award, each student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and have completed at least one year at a college or university.

The Mid-South Conference honored 61 student athletes on the academic all-conference list.

The MSC Championship is set to begin at 11 AM EST at Bowling Green High School, with UC set to perform at 11:30 AM EST.  The Patriots are seeking its first conference title in program history.
