Williamsburg, KY- The UC cheerleading team recorded a final score of 84.90 to place third at the virtual Georgetown competition Sunday afternoon.   

"We're proud that our team came together for this performance," said Head Coach RJ Conroy.  "Although the results weren't in our favor, we plan to use this as motivation going into the conference tournament next weekend."

The 84.90 score is the second highest score of the season for the UC Cheer team, right behind their score of 86.40 that they tallied during the second round of the Patriots Spirit Invite.

Georgetown won the competition with a score of 86.85. Point Park scored an 85.55 to finish runner-up, and the Patriots rounded out the competition in third.
The Patriots return to the mats next Saturday, February 12, when they are set to travel to Bowling Green, KY for the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
