Ypsilanti, MI- The Patriots cheer team sits in 11
th after the preliminary round of the NAIA National tournament on Friday evening.
Cumberlands opened the championship competition by earning a score of 80.03 during the opening round. UC received no deductions during their performance this evening for the first time this season. Their opening round score is just four points behind fifth place.
St. Ambrose University currently sits in first place after recording a preliminary round score of 92.63. Fellow Mid-South Conference opponents Pikeville and Georgetown sit in eighth and ninth place, respectively.
UC will look to improve on their score tomorrow for the final round of the national tournament. The Patriots are set to take the mat at 11:40 a.m. EST for their final performance of the year. The competition can be live streamed
