Kansas City, MO- In the final regular season NAIA Top-25 Coaches' poll, the Patriots women's golf team matched their highest ranking of the season. After receiving 112 voting points, UC came in at 24 in the latest coaches' poll, announced by the national office on Thursday.

In their last tournament of the season, the MSC Tournament Championship, Cumberlands notched a fourth place finish overall after carding a combined score of 943 (+79). Through three rounds in Bowling Green, KY, the Patriots carded a spring best 132 pars and 27 birdies to finish just a few strokes behind third place at the tournament.

Leading the way for Cumberlands at the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship was Maria Neira. Across three rounds at the tournament, the freshman carded a 223 (+7) to finish in second place on the individual leaderboard. Through three rounds at the tournament, the Caracas, Venezuela native tallied 30 pars and nine birdies to notched her lowest score of the 2021-2022 season.

Cumberlands is one of four Mid-South Conference teams mentioned within the latest NAIA top-25 coaches' poll. Lindsey Wilson earned the highest ranking of any MSC team, coming in at #13. Cumberland (TN.) earned 259 votes to come in at #16 in the poll, while Campbellsville fell to #22.
