Williamsburg, KY – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released their final rankings of the season Wednesday evening. The Patriots had two players make the list with Tomomi Nagao coming in at 10th in singles while she and Mikel Fros being ranked 24th in doubles.

Nagao continues to add to her list of accolades as she holds her position at 10th in singles. Tomomi was named the Mid-South conference Player of the Year for the second season in a row while locking up a spot on the All-MSC First Team and being named a NAIA All-American first teamer. The native of Gifu, Japan played her way to a 23-1 record on the year and a 10-0 mark in conference play while going 3-0 against other players ranked in the ITA, defeating #41 Alexandra Parra twice and #45 Orianna Espinoza once.

Nagao was also mentioned in the ITA's doubles rankings with Mikaela Fros coming in at 24. Tomomi and Fros played exclusively as the Patriot's #1 in doubles, going 11-8 together. The tandem's play in the top spot ended up playing a major factor in helping Cumberlands grab some big wins with their best performance coming against then-ranked #17 Reinhardt in mid-February when UC defeated the Eagles 6-1.
