Williamsburg, KY – The Patriots men's track & field program had a successful season which included multiple conference champions, all-conference honorees and national qualifiers.
THE YEAR IN NUMBERS

UC brought home five MSC Titles throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons. During the MSC Indoor Championships
Leonardo Daley won the 60m hurdles while
Carson Johnson won the 3k racewalk and also the 5k racewalk at MSC Outdoor Championships this season.
Tristan Petrey brought home the gold in the pole vault competition and UC's 4x100 squad of
Tyrell Floyd,
Ryan Long,
Ken Cobb, and
Leonardo Daley were the final MSC Champions of the year for the Pats.

Three school records were rewritten after several amazing performances on the year.
Leonardo Daley broke two hurdles records for UC. He ran an 8.12 in the 60m hurdles at the NAIA Indoor National Championships for a new record while also running a record time of 14.41 in the 110m hurdles during outdoor nationals.
Carson Johnson also broke his own 3k racewalk record multiple times throughout the indoor season, his best time of 12:50.87 coming at the MSC Indoor Championships.

Cumberlands earned 17 All-Conference awards for their performances at the Mid-South Outdoor Championships. All of UC's champions earned first-team honors including
Carson Johnson,
Leonardo Daley,
Tristan Petrey,
Tyrell Floyd,
Ryan Long, and
Ken Cobb. Cobb also earned second-team honors in the 100m dash as well as third-team in the 4x400.
Matthew Chavers was named to the second-team in the long jump, and
Jhawan Horton rounded out the Patriots second-team award winners in the hammer throw.
Miguel Reis earned third-team all-conference honors in the 200m and 4x400 alongside
DeMarquez Brown,
Justin Fabela, and Cobb who each ran a leg of the 4x400. UC's final three all-conference winners were
Nicolas Cecioni in the 5k racewalk,
Cole MacMurray in the pole vault, and
Chaz Jarboe in the decathlon.
Carson Johnson was a force to be reckoned with this year. The sophomore was a two-time All-American on the track, finishing second at indoor nationals in the 3k racewalk, and fourth at outdoor nationals in the 5k racewalk.

Eleven Patriots earned a spot at the national meet after hitting qualifying standards throughout the in and outdoor seasons. Leo Daley and
Miguel Reis each earned a spot in three events at the national level. Daley in the 60m and 110m hurdles as well as the 4x100 relay. Reis in the 4x400 relay and the 400m dash in both indoor and outdoor season.
DeMarquez Brown,
DeShawn Crowe and
Justin Fabela each made a trip to outdoor nationals in the 4x400 with
Tristan Petrey making the trip for the pole vault. Johnson and Cecioni each qualified for the national meet in both seasons for the 3k and 5k racewalks, while
Ken Cobb qualified in the 200m dash during indoor and 4x100 relay outdoor.
Tyrell Floyd and
Ryan Long rounded out the Pats NAIA national qualifiers as the final two runners in the 4x100.

UC hosted their first regular season home meet since the 2018-2019 outdoor season and they did not disappoint. The Patriots brought home a first place finish out of the 20 competing teams, beating MSC opponents Lindsey Wilson, Cumberland University, Georgetown, and Campbellsville along the way.
