Richmond, KY – The UC men's bowling finished fourth out of 17 teams in the Mid-South Conference Bakers Bash this weekend. The Patriots came out stronger on day two, knocking down 3,128 pins in the final 20 baker games, which was the highest pin count for their flight.  

After hitting 3,772 pins on Saturday, UC finished with a total of 7,684 pins for the tournament as they surged up four spots on the leader board. Bryce Frantz, Robert Borowski, Stephen Simmons, Liam McNamara, Charles Wilken, and Austin Hale were the ones to lead the team in their success this weekend.

University of Pikeville pulled out the first-place victory with a total pin count of 8,299. University of Tennessee-Southern took second place with knocking down 8,135 pins. Midway found themselves just 286 pins in front of the Patriots with 7,879 pins knocked down on the weekend for third place. This puts UC in third place in the MSC standings after one week of play.

The men are back in action in two weeks when they travel north to Michigan for the Crossroads League. This is also a two-day event and will feature both UC's men's and women's teams.
