Bowling Green, KY – The tenth-ranked UC women's tennis team earned a runner-up finish at the MSC Fall Invite this weekend. After opening the tournament with a win on Friday, the Pats fell to #14 Lindsey Wilson 6-1 in the finals on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders swept doubles play to gain a 1-0 lead heading into singles.

Lindsey Wilson would pull away in the first five singles matches to increase the Blue Raider advantage to 6-0.

Fan Shiau got the Pats on the board in the final match of the day. The junior earned a solid win in straight sets over Reshma Challarapu 7-5, 6-3.

UC will bring home hardware from this event for the third-straight year after a runner-up finish in 2021 and a first-place finish in 2022.

The Pats will return to regular-season action in the spring.
