Box Score Lawrenceville, GA – The Cumberlands women's tennis team fell to the top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies on Friday morning to close out the Georgia Gwinnett Open.

The Grizzlies opened the day sweeping doubles play, to take an early 1-0 advantage.

Marina Nagai fought hard at #2 singles, playing two competitive sets. The sophomore ultimately fell to Iryna Lysykh in a tight battle, 6-4, 7-5.

Georgia Gwinnett secured the remaining five singles matches to earn the 7-0 victory.

The Pats return to action on February 22^nd, as they host #18 Union College.
