Bowling Green, KY - Patriots junior Ainslee Cruce has been named the Mid-South Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by conference officials on Monday. This is the third weekly honor of Cruce's career, and the second earned by a Patriot this season. 

This past week at the Gibson Bay Invitational, Ainslee Cruce finished second overall after tying for first through three rounds with scores of 75 (+3), 76 (+4), and 77 (+5) for a 228 (+12) total. Cruce recorded five birdies and an eagle across the tournament and battled Pikeville's Tayla Howroyd in a playoff for medalist honors, ultimately finishing runner-up.  Her efforts helped the team clinch the team title. 

This is Cruce's second MSC Golfer of the Week honor this season, and her third overall as a Patriot. 

The Patriots return to the green on October 27-28 at the Fall Mid-South Conference Tournament in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
