Smyrna, TN – The University of the Cumberlands Women's Bowling team opened Mid-South Conference play with a strong showing at the MSC Greater Nashville Open on Saturday. The Patriots placed seventh out of 18 varsity teams, knocking down a total of 4,843 pins through four team games and eight baker games. 

Kailee Blain paced UC with another impressive performance, placing 24th overall after knocking down 729 pins across four games for an average of 182.3. Paige Frantz followed closely in 33rd with 714 pins and a 178.5 average, while Sienna Stoner finished 37th with 703 pins and a 175.8 average. 

Shelbi Webb rounded out UC's scorers, finishing 47th with 682 pins for a 170.5 average. Allison Finn also competed, recording 157 pins in one game. 

The Patriots will continue MSC action with the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament.
