Beavercreek, OH – The University of the Cumberlands Women's Bowling team turned in its best finish of the season this weekend, placing second out of 15 varsity teams at the Roto Grip Raider Classic. The Patriots finished fourth in qualifying, knocking down 6,320 pins through four team games and 16 baker games to earn the No. 4 seed entering match play. UC then advanced through the semifinals before falling to Wright State University in the championship match. 

Skyler Holt led the way for Cumberlands, finishing 23rd overall with a total pinfall of 708 pins across four games for a 177.0 average, highlighted by a 204 in game one.  

Paige Frantz followed closely behind, placing 26th with 706 pins and a 176.5 average, while Kailee Blain recorded 629 pins for a 157.3 average to place 56th. 

Katie Palmer made the most of limited action, tallying 405 pins across two games for a 202.5 average, including a 237 in game two. Rylee Carter and Sienna Stoner also contributed with 314 and 307 pins respectively. 

Cumberlands will return to action after the new year on January 17th for the Hammer/Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic.
