Daytona Beach, FL – The Patriots cheerleading team competed at NCA Nationals, placing second in the Advanced All Girl NAIA division.
UC opened action on Thursday, competing in the preliminary round of competition scoring an 87.00 seating them in second place heading into finals. The preliminary round of competition was worth 25% of the total score, while the finals round was worth 75%.
In the finals round, the Pats earned a score of 85.63 to capture a total event score of 85.97 to secure a second-place finish.
Brenau finished in first with a total event score of 90.77, while Avila earned an 83.74, Missouri Baptist with a 78.99, and Rocky Mountain with a 67.52 to round out the competition.
Along with their second-place finish at NCA Nationals, Cumberlands cheer concludes the 2025 season with six first place victories, second at the Mid-South Conference Championship, and seventh at NAIA Nationals.
