Bowling Green, KY – University of the Cumberlands men's golfer Thomas White has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

White earned medalist honors at the Gibson Bay Intercollegiate last week, finishing first in the 57-player field. The sophomore from Berkshire, England, carded rounds of 68 (-4), 69 (-3), and 73 (+1) for a three-round total of 210 (-6).

White recorded 12 birdies and an eagle throughout the tournament, helping lead the Patriots to a first-place finish in the 10-team field.

The recognition marks White's first MSC Men's Golfer of the Week honor this season and the first of his career.

White and the Patriots return to action on October 19-20 as they compete at The Club at Five Oaks Invite in Nashville, TN.
