Bowling Green, KY – After capturing medalist honors and helping lead the eighth-ranked Patriots to their fourth tournament championship of the fall, Isaac Jones has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. This marks the third consecutive week a Cumberlands golfer has earned the honor, following Thomas White and Saran Jantratit.

Jones earned MSC Men's Golfer of the Week honors after claiming the individual title at the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview. The Newton, Powys, Wales native posted a three-round total of 208 (-8), opening the tournament with a 71 (-1) before firing a five-under-par 67 in the second round. He closed the event with a 70 (-2), recording 13 birdies throughout the tournament. His performance helped guide the Patriots to a first-place finish, as Cumberlands posted a team total of 845 (-19), finishing 24 strokes ahead of the field.

The recognition marks Jones' first MSC Men's Golfer of the Week honor this season.

Jones and the Patriots conclude the fall portion of their schedule with four tournament championships and a No. 8 national ranking as they prepare for the spring season.
