Georgetown, KY – The No. 12-ranked Cumberlands Patriots women's tennis delivered a dominant performance Friday afternoon, sweeping Georgetown 7-0 at the Lackey Tennis Center. With the win, the Patriots improve to 12-4 on the season. 

Cumberlands opened the match by claiming the doubles point with victories in all three doubles flights. At No. 1 doubles, Marina Nagai and Bryndis Rosa earned a 6-2 win over Molly Archer and Abby Moss. The Patriots followed with another 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles as Eva Cancarevic and Skye Maclean defeated Anna White and Emma Jury. The doubles sweep was completed at No. 3 as Puckaporn Jirachavala and Wansai Kasikampaiboon secured a 6-2 win against Pyper Wasch and Maggie Blevins. 

The Patriots continued their strong play in singles, winning all six matches in straight sets to complete the shutout. At No. 1 singles, Marina Nagai cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Molly Archer. Haruna Kojima followed with a 6-0, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles against Abby Moss. At No. 3 singles, Mahiro Hara earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Anna White. 

YuFang Liu added another point for the Patriots with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Emma Jury at No. 4 singles. At No. 5 singles, Puckaporn Jirachavala posted a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory against Pyper Wasch. The sweep was completed at No. 6 singles as Skye Maclean defeated Maggie Blevins 6-0, 6-0. 

The Patriots are back on the court on Friday, April 10, where they will host Bethel (Tenn.) for their final conference match of the regular season. Senior day festivities are scheduled for 12:30 PM, while the first serve is slated for 1:00 PM.
