Marion, IN – The University of the Cumberlands Men's Cross Country team turned in a dominant performance at the Wildcat Twilight Invitational, capturing the team title with 34 points behind an individual victory from Collin De Julio. The Patriots placed three runners inside the top five and five inside the top 13 of the men's 6K.

De Julio led the way for Cumberlands, capturing the individual title with a time of 18:32.30. Caleb Hershey followed with a fourth-place finish in 18:38.90, while James Ndayishimiye crossed the line fifth with a time of 18:41.50.

The Patriots continued to pack the front of the field as Killian Le Bourhis placed 11th in 18:56.50 before Guilio Romano rounded out UC's scoring five in 13th with a time of 18:59.20. The five finishes gave Cumberlands 34 team points, 15 ahead of Indiana Wesleyan's 49.

UC's depth continued with Merwan Meleard placing 17th in 19:05.30 and Sean Crady finishing 18th in 19:06.30. Casey DeSilvey followed in 20th with a time of 19:09.30, while Kyle Crady crossed the line 21st in 19:11.80.

Caleb Burton added a 27th-place finish with a time of 19:17.50, while Christopher Wells placed 43rd in 19:39.50. Caden Cull crossed the line in 19:49.40 to place 54th, followed by Dathan Custar in 64th with a time of 19:59.80. Marcus Salinas rounded out the Patriots' finishers listed in the results, placing 72nd in 20:07.30.

Indiana Wesleyan finished runner-up with 49 points, while Rio Grande placed third with 110 points. Indiana East followed in fourth with 125 points, and Taylor rounded out the top five with 159 points.
