Ranked as high as 17th in the NAIA at 149 pounds and 19th at 141, collecting four wins over ranked opponents. Went 9-5 in tournament action including 3rd at the MSC Championships and 4th at the Patriot Open. Went 4-1 in duals with two wins against MSC opponents. Second on the team for match points scored (119).
As a sophomore (2020) ... NAIA Qualifier ... Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete … Went 19-13 on the season including 15-7 at tournaments and 4-6 in duals at 149 pounds. Placed second at the Patriot, Dan Gable and Missouri Valley Opens. Went 2-2 at the MSC Championships and 1-2 at the NAIA Championships. was not ranked in the preseason, peaking at 16th in the NAIA in the fifth poll. Tallied 11 decisions, two majors, three techs and two falls of 1:46 at the Dan Gable and 3:50 over a 14th ranked wrestler at Missouri Valley. Also noted a win over a top-10 wrestler at the NAIA Championships.Â
