Coach Ball joined the Patriots in the summer of 2022 to take over as the second UC Esports Coach. 

In the 2025-26 season Coach Ball led his time to securing their first MSC title within the programs history 

In his four years at the helm, UC has grown to one of the top teams in the MSC, competing in Valorant, Super Smash Bros, Rainbow 6 Siege, League of Legends, Overwatch, and Rocket League
