In 2024-25, Reigle led the Patriots to a strong season on both sides. Cumberlands men's bowling finished second at the Orange Classic and ninth at the Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament. The UC women's team placed third at the Mid-South Conference Championships and a fifth place finish at the Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament against conference competition. For the men's team, Austin Hale was named a Second Team All-Conference selection.
In 2021-22, Kevin Reigle is entering his ninth season as the Head Men’s and Women’s Bowling Coach at the University of the Cumberlands.
In 2020-21, Reigle led the Patriots to five top-3 tournament finishes. Cumberlands men's bowling took first-place in both the Mid-South Preseason Fall Invitational and Thomas Burris Memorial. Women's bowling had a strong season as they secured a second place finish at the Mid-South Preseason Fall Invitational as well two third place finishes at the Cincinnati Collegiate Classic and Brandon Burns Memorial. Reigle coached junior Thomas McNeal to an individual tournament win at the MSC Preseason Fall Invitational. On the women's side, Reigle helped both Allysen Coryell and Kiara Abanto to second-place individual finishes. Both Abanto and Coryell earned MSC first team All-Conference nominations while Erika Taylor garnered second team recognition. For the men's team, McNeal was named first team all-conference while Bryce Frantz earned a second team nomination.
Cumberlands bowling had another successful season with the women's team seven medal finishes and garnering a pair of All-Conferenc bowlers. Reigle guided freshman Kiara Abanto to her first career individual tournament victory at the Thomas Burris Memorial; just the second individual tournament victory of the program's history. In addition to the women's success, the men's team won their first team tournament in program history at the Eagle Classic, while Thomas McNeal won the individual title at the NKU Norse Classic. McNeal had one of the best year's in UC Bowling history garnering their first All-American of the program and bowling the first 300 game for the Patriots between the men and women.
In 2019-20, the women's team made program history as they notched their first top-five finish at a Tier One Event and also recorded their first NAIA All-American as Sarah Doyle received Second Team honors. The UC bowling program had four all-conference players, eight MSC academic all-conference recipients, and a NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete. The men's team earned top-ten finishes in ten tournaments, placing outside of the top-ten just once all year. The team earned two first team all-conference athletes, three MSC academic all-conference award winners, and two NAIA-DAktronics Scholar Athletes.
In 2018-19 Cumberlands women's bowling won back-to-back tournaments, claiming the trophies at the Norse Collegiate Classic and the Eagle Classic in early February. Men's bowling won the singles and doubles titles at the Mid-South Tournament. Both the men's and women's team finished with a pair of All-Conference selections each.
In 2017-18 the Patriots women's team posted a pair of tournament victories, including winning the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship by knocking off top-seed Pikeville in the championships match. UC add a victory earlier in the early winning the Ball State Cardinal Classic and earned their fourth trip to the NAIA National Tournament. The men's team also had a solid year finishing seventh in the MSC standings.
In 2016-17 Patriot bowling had one of their most successful season with the programs first tournament victories. The Men’s team won the Mid-South Conference Championship by upsetting number 1 seed Pikeville in the championship match. The men also qualified for the NAIA National Championship Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
The women started off the season with a win at the LMU Railsplitter Baker Kick-off by defeating Emmanuel College 2-1 in the semi-finals and Bethel University 2-1 in the championship match. The women also had two second place finishes at the Green River Classic and the NKU Norse Classic. The women’s team qualified for the NAIA National Championship tournament for the 3rd time.
In 2015-16, both teams qualified for USBC Sectionals and for the NAIA National Team Championship. This marked the third year that the men have qualified and the second for the women. The men won their first round match and advanced to the round of 16.
In Mid-South Conference regular season play, the women’s team finished the season at 26-11 and finished 4th. The men had a record of 26-18 and finished 6th of 12 in the conference.
In their second season, the program made further strides with both the men’s and women’s teams qualifying for USBC Sectionals for the first time. The men’s team again qualified for the NAIA National Championship winning their first round match and finishing in the round of 16.
In their inaugural season, both teams qualified for the NAIA National Championship with the men’s team advancing to the round of 16, and the women’s team to the round of 12. The women’s team finished second in the MSC regular season going 12-6, and third in the MSC conference championship tournament.
The first season also produced individual success with a Women’s Rookie of the Year award, Women’s Second team All-Conference award, an MSC Academic All-Conference Award and 3 Academic All-Americans.
Coach Reigle bowled at the University of Pikeville and was a member of the first Pikeville men’s team to qualify for the USBC National Team Championship in 2004. He became a member of the Professional Bowlers Association by qualifying 11th and making the finals at the PBA Fort Meade East Challenge in 2014. He holds the USBC Silver Coaching Certification.
Coach Reigle has a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Pikeville and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
