Kaitlyn Riley enters her first season as a graduate assistant for the UC Golf Teams in 2018-19.
Riley joins the UC coaching staff having finished an illustrious career with the Patriots Women's Golf program in 2017-18. In her UC career, Riley finished in the top 10 at the NAIA National Championship Tournament each of her four years, including third-place finishes during her junior (2016-17) and senior (2017-18) seasons, and a first-place finish as a sophomore in 2015-16 — the first individual NAIA National Championship in program history. On her way to the NAIA Championship as a sophomore, Riley shot a a second round score of 68, which tied for the lowest 18-hole score in NAIA Women's Golf National Championship history. She earned NAIA All-American honors three times (two First Team and one Third Team) and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete during her junior and senior seasons. Riley helped the Patriots to Mid-South Conference Regular Season and MSC Championship titles each of her four years, and four top-12 NAIA National Championship team finishes (5th —2015, T-4th — 2016, 12th — 2017 & 8th — 2018). Riley, who finished her collegiate career as the winningest golfer in program history with 15 tournament wins, was also named the MSC Freshman of the Year in 2014-15, and the MSC Golfer of the Year and the MSC Female Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2017-18.
Riley graduated from UC in 2018 with bachelor's degrees in Biology and Exercise Science.
