Monica Soliz is entering her first year at UC as an Assistant Swim Coach.
Soliz is a native of Cottonwood, Arizona, and attended Benedictine University where she received a degree in Business & Organizational Management.
Coach Soliz was senior swim coach for Metro Aquatics in Tacoma, WA. Prior to her northwest adventure she started a swim team at the Ross Farnsworth YMCA, while being a seasonally coach at Seton Catholic High School.
Prior to coaching, Soliz swam for 10 years, along with being a four sport athlete. Soliz played basketball, ran cross country and track. While running track, she was a member of the Girl's Track & Field State Championship Team three years in a row.
