Alex Kluchki

Alex Kluchki is entering his fourth season on the coaching staff of the UC Men’s and Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country teams. He assists with coaching the middle distance and distance student-athletes, and also assists with recruiting.
 
In his four seasons on the coaching staff, Kluchki coached 16 NAIA National Qualifiers, including NAIA National Champion and two-time NAIA All-American Lucas Huelvan, two-time NAIA All-American Samuel Beal (Cross Country & Indoor 5k), and All-American Rute Simoes (indoor 5k). During the 2018-19 season, Kluchki helped guide the men's team to four of Mid-South Conference Championships and a fourth place finish at the NAIA Indoor National Championships.  Huelvan highlighted those championships by winning the 3000 meter race in 2019. 
 
Prior to arriving at Cumberlands, Kluchki was the assistant coach for Tennessee Wesleyan College (now University) for one and half years. While at TWC, he helped the men's team win two AAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the women's team to one AAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Kluchki was also named the 2016 USTFCCCA NAIA Women’s South Region Assistant Coach of the Year for the outdoor track & field season. During his time at Tennessee Wesleyan, the teams had four NAIA Cross Country National Qualifiers, along with an 21 NAIA Track & Field National Qualifiers in the middle distance and distance events. Of those 21, nine earned NAIA Track & Field All-American honors.

Kluchki, a Tinley Park, IL native, attended Lewis University where he earned a B.S. degree in Sports Management. He holds a USATF Level I Certification.
