Maria is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the UC Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Team. Nogueira was a three year member of the UC swim program, qualifying for three NAIA National Championships.   Over the course of her swimming career, Nogueira notched one NAIA All-American award, four MSC first team all-conference honors and one second team all-conference award.
