Jake Sinkovics enters his first year as an assistant coach for University of the Cumberlands men's wrestling in 2018-19. In his role, Sinkovics will assist with recruiting, practice planning and coaching wrestlers at events.
With his prior wrestling experience, Sinkovics has helped the Patriots to consecutive MSC regular season titles in 2019 and 2020, as well as a first-place finish at the MSC Tournament in 2020.
Sinkovics finished an illustrious four-year career at Cumberlands in 2018. He was named All-American four times and was an undefeated National Champion (30-0) at 133 lbs. in his final year as an athlete. In addition, the Mishawaka, IN native holds the Patriots' all-time records for career wins (123) and pins (47).
