Prior to Menlo, Reimel served as an assistant coach at Emmanuel College (NAIA) and Alvernia University (NCAA Division III), where he gained valuable experience in recruiting, compliance, academic advisement, and daily practice execution. A former standout wrestler at Kutztown University, Reimel was a three-time NCAA Division II National Qualifier and a two-time Division II All-American, finishing fifth and sixth nationally during his career. He was a three-time regional placer, team captain as a junior and senior, and earned team MVP honors in 2018. He graduated from Kutztown University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Coaching.
