Ashton Clayburn is currently serving as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant at the University of the Cumberlands, while also working as a Graduate Assistant for the Mid-South Conference. In these roles, he supports athletic communications through digital media, content creation, and game day operations. Since beginning in August 2025, Clayburn has contributed to live event coverage, including statistical tracking, media coordination, and real-time updates, while also producing graphics to enhance athletic branding and promotion.
Clayburn brings a strong background in athletics, highlighted by his role as a member of Cumberlands’ men’s lacrosse team that finished as a national championship runner-up. A former team captain, he is recognized for his leadership, communication, and ability to work effectively in team environments.
In addition to his athletic experience, Clayburn has earned multiple academic honors, including several semesters on the Dean’s List and President’s List, as well as recognition as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Sports Management, Coaching, Exercise, and Sports Science from the University of the Cumberlands in 2025 and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Cumberlands.
