University of the Cumberlands Athletics

Mia Reid is entering her first year as an Assistant Sports Information Director at the University of the Cumberlands. She serves as the primary contact for Men’s Soccer, Women’s Wrestling, Cheer, Dance, and Softball.

Mia graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Digital Media and a minor in Sports Media. While at MVNU, she worked with WNZR 90.9 FM and WNZR.tv as a Social Media Assistant and Crew Member, and also served as the Social Media Manager and Operations Assistant for the MVNU Baseball team.

She covered a variety of sports and events throughout college, gaining experience in content creation, photography, broadcasting, and media operations. Mia brings a strong foundation in sports media to her new role at UC.
