Quin Smith is entering his second year an Assistant Sports Information Director at the University of the Cumberlands, where he serves as the primary media contact for Volleyball, Men’s Wrestling, Bowling, and Baseball. He stepped into the full-time role in October 2024 after beginning as a Graduate Assistant in August of that same year. Smith was a recipient of the inaugural "Cody Butler Award" which is given to the program who has covered their team the best throughout the baseball season.  

As a graduate assistant, he was the main contact for Men’s & Women’s Cross Country, Men’s & Women’s Bowling, and Men’s & Women’s Tennis. His responsibilities included managing social media platforms, public address announcing, live video production, photography, broadcasting, statistical coverage, writing, graphic design, and more.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2024 and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration at Cumberlands.
